If you have a specific problem set and perhaps a specific solution set in mind and need some help designing, building, and deploying, I can help.

I prioritize Open Source software, ensuring your costs are always minimized with respect to tools and maintenance, but of course can accommodate your preferences - though it's important we validate them.

Some common problem sets might be:

• Data: databases and POS systems, data warehouses and NoSQL stores and lakes

• Data Engineering: automation, basic to advanced ETL/ELT, messaging and API delivery

• Data Science: cost-benefit analysis, game theory and optimization (ex: automated ad spends, POS restocking, cost minimization, etc.),

• AI and Machine Learning: predictive modeling, model design and deployment, LLM implementations and deployment, full agentic AI workflows, ontology-based knowledge stores and framework implementations (these are a specialty of mine)

AI and Innovation - Strategy, Implementation

My background is in both Economics and Data Science - with an MS in each and the student loans that go with them - with nearly 15 years of leadership experience in both the corporate world and for military clients. The majority of my contracts, including currently, require both programmatic understanding in addition to advanced AI requirements and use cases.

Example Use Cases:

• Enterprise Governance: before implementing company-wide or program-specific AI implementations comes strategy, requirements, and governance. I have never been asked to help on projects that are already optimized, and nearly every use case falls short in satisfying continuously-changing constraints...and the reason is always governance. My academic pursuits have led me to develop new theories around intelligence, including my own Rational Systems Theory framework. At its full capability, RST acts as an enterprise digital twin whose main goal is ensuring all constraints are known, qualified, and addressed. This framework relies on novel LLM-based AI capabilities to find, understand, and abstract all information and make it relatable and usable - the same way our brains work.

• AI and Innovation Office Instantiation: developing a core office or organization around AI and Innovation is becoming standard practice to ensure AI capabilities are aligned to business objectives (while helping validate them) and executed properly in daily and specialized operations. I can help write specific strategy, core use cases and implementation schedules, and provide resource strategies for maintaining operations.

• Fully-Agentic AI: while I've placed this last on this page, it is certainly not least. If your business is at the point where either manual operations are not cost effective or have peaked, then perhaps you're ready to add AI-based workflows across your enterprise (or small business!). I have built many custom pipelines ranging from standard MLOps to advanced, real-time decision systems. However, if part of your interest in agentic-based AI is to reduce your workforce - rather than enable them - then I will respectfully decline work.
